We had a great time sealing the deck surface of both patios and now if it rains and we don’t get the patios up, it’s all good. Granted, we will usually put the decks up for rain, but it’s not a priority. The sealer we used was Raptor Protective Coating (link to below).
We found it easiest to just put the coating directly on the deck and spread it. It will start to dry in 20 to 30 minutes, so don’t go slow. You’ll want to pour it out of the bottles and get it spread the way you want immediately. The directions call for it to be used with a spray gun, but as you can see from the video, a paint roller did just fine.
